Delete your account
If you signed in to Bentar with Google, this page explains how to permanently delete that account and what happens to your data. If you never signed in, there is no account — Bentar works anonymously and uninstalling the app removes all local data.
Option 1 — Delete inside the app (recommended)
- Open Bentar → Settings (gear tab).
- Tap Delete account — visible only when you are signed in.
- Read what is removed, then confirm with the same Google account you signed in with.
- Done — your account is deleted immediately and the app returns to anonymous mode.
Option 2 — Request by email
Can't open the app? Email support@ajfbyte.com with the subject "Delete my Bentar account" from (or mentioning) the Google address you used to sign in. We delete the account and associated backend records within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your Bentar account — the Google sign-in identity linked to the app (Firebase Authentication) is permanently deleted.
- Billing identity link — your RevenueCat app-user ID is detached. To erase the purchase/billing record itself, email us and we will delete it from RevenueCat manually.
- Backend data — any optional goal text you submitted, and your push token (OneSignal), are deleted on request.
What stays
- On-device app data — streaks, guarded apps, intention questions, and settings live only on your phone and are kept so you can keep using Bentar anonymously. Uninstall the app to remove them completely.
Hapus akun (Bahasa Indonesia)
Kalau kamu login ke Bentar pakai Google, akun itu bisa dihapus permanen. Cara tercepat: Bentar → Setelan → Hapus akun, lalu konfirmasi dengan akun Google yang sama. Kamu juga bisa email support@ajfbyte.com dengan subjek "Delete my Bentar account" — kami hapus akun dan data backend dalam 30 hari. Data di HP (streak, aplikasi jaga, setelan) tidak ikut terhapus; uninstall aplikasi untuk menghapus semuanya. Kalau kamu tidak pernah login, tidak ada akun — cukup uninstall.
